Ozgu

Özge, a Turkish singer, was introduced to me through a mutual acquaintance, the singer Maziar Beygi, as part of a duet project. Özge came to Tehran for recording their collaborative song and shooting its music video. During the weeks she spent as my guest, I found the experience quite fascinating. Although supervising the recording of a Turkish song wasn’t challenging for me due to my proficiency in Istanbul Turkish, it was an exciting opportunity to produce works in another language. Our joint song, titled “Alev Alev,” was produced, and its music video was filmed in Lavasan, showcasing exceptional professionalism. The music video was also broadcast on Netd, a Turkish network, and received significant acclaim. Additionally, Özge Gürel and I collaborated on a cover of Emrah’s song, which also garnered positive feedback
