“The film soundtrack for ‘Salat-e-Zohr’ was one of the exciting challenges of that time. I had previously collaborated with Afshin, so I was familiar with his creative mindset. However, this time, we were tasked with creating music solely using live instruments, and the tight deadline made it quite challenging. The music was in the key of D minor, and the orchestration included violins, guitars, and flutes to provide an orchestral foundation. But that’s not all—Afshin played the santoor, adding sweet melodies to the composition.”
