The video film “Erfan” tells the story of a young man who plans to emigrate from the country to pursue his specialized studies. However, due to not having a military service completion card, he takes an action that leads to strange events.
“The film ‘Erfan’ is my second collaboration with Alireza Shah Hosseini, following the movie ‘Who Gave, Who Took.’ However, the atmosphere in ‘Erfan’ was significantly different from the previous film. The film’s music had a romantic and bittersweet quality, especially due to its poignant ending. To enhance the emotional impact, I composed a minimalist melody for piano and violin, aiming for a more intimate musical experience. This subtle musical backdrop worked well with the film, making its scenes even more captivating.”
